Hey, everyone! The 8th 2024 Shanghai International Ukulele Festival, organized by the awesome ukulele master David Chen, has come to a successful end! This super-exciting music event kicked off on October 20, 2024, at the lush outdoor lawn square in Green city. Hundreds of music lovers rushed here from all directions just to attend this ukulele music gathering!
On the day of the event, there was a light drizzle in the sky, but how could that dampen everyone’s enthusiasm? Instead, it added a touch of romance to the scene. On the stage, the performances of the ukulele orchestra were like magic, and every note penetrated into everyone’s hearts. The energetic Hula dances instantly turned the scene into a sea of joy. And those lovely kids, whether they were cute toddlers or young teenagers, all exerted all their efforts to play their own melodies with ukuleles. Their fierce -yet-cute looks were so adorable! What’s even more amazing is that the appearance of the Japanese ukulele master, Jazzoom Cafe, directly pushed the atmosphere of the scene to the peak. The performance was simply amazing, and everyone was immersed in this wonderful music world, not even daring to blink.
We, PICKAPICK, were the sponsors of this event! Our ukuleles turned into the prizes for the on-site lucky draws! Every time during the performance intervals, the lucky-draw sessions were held. When the host announced the names of the winning kids, they would walk onto the stage with big smiles on their faces, happily accepting our colorful 23-inch and 21-inch ukuleles. Watching them receive the ukuleles, we were filled with joy too.
